About

I have a bachelor and a master degree, both in sociology, from the University of Sofia. My PhD degree (2009) in sociology is from the Institute of Sociology at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Since 2010 I am a chief assistant professor at the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge (ISSK), department “Public Policies and Social Changes”. Since then I have taken part as researcher in various projects that explore themes like: youth in transition countries (2014-2015); new forms of inequality (2011-2014); European practices for inclusion in the development of social services in Metropolitan Municipality (2010-2011), opportunities for a fuller and more effective use of EU funds (2012-2014), etc. Currently I am a representative of the ISSK in a working group at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. I am a lecturer in Economic Sociology at the Plovdiv University.
