About

I have a master degree (1974) and a PhD degree (1991), in sociology (and MA in economics) and gained associate professor in economics in 1995 and professor in social policy in 2003 at Masaryk University in Brno. Currently I am head of the Institute for Public Policy and Social Work there.

I am teaching the courses on labour market and social policy at Masaryk University, regularly teaching also in the international programme Master in Social Security (Leuven University). I am participating in several research project like Czech project on legitimacy of welfare state after the crisis, EU projects Citispyce focused on innovative solutions for disadvantaged youth, or Innocare project focused on social services.
