About

I have a graduate degree in ‘Mathematics’ from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1991) and a PhD degree (1998) in Markov systems from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In my occupational life, I have taught mathematical statistics, applied algebra, stochastic processes and mathematical programming at different universities (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Air Force Academy of Athens, University of Pireaus) and applied social research and social statistics mainly at Panteion University of Social and Political Science. Being an Assistant Professor of Social Statistics since 2010 at UPSPS, I am currently participating as a senior researcher in national and EU projects. I have been visiting professor at the London School of Economics (LSE). My scientific interests and published work concern mainly the study of population systems and their dynamic evolution in time.
